Drawing Colors
Colors are an important part of many knitting charts and can effectively communicate the yarn colors needed for a project, particularly for intarsia or colorwork knitting. Yarn Toolkit provides a variety of colors you utilize when creating your knitting chart.
Navigating the Color Palette
The color palette is displayed on the bottom section of the toolbar when color editing is enabled. To enable color editing, click on the icon if not already highlighted.

Changing the Active Color
The color palette holds up to 6 unique colors, with the active color indicated by the icon. To switch the active color to another one shown among the toolbar, simply click on another color. The
should now be on the newly selected color, which will be what is colored onto the knitting chart.

Adding a New Color
Yarn Toolkit provides up to 80 colors for styling your knitting chart and plans on adding more in the future. To switch out a color in the toolbar with another color not among the current options, click the active color again (or double click a non-active color) to trigger a dropdown display of all available colors. The new color that is selected will replace the active color in the color palette.
